Camera-first · verified captures

Point your camera
at real metal.

Shoot a car you actually found. A verifier names it, grades the shot, and files it to your Registry. Old photos don't count. Screens and prints get caught. You have to be there.

The loop

Four seconds from windshield to Registry.

No forms, no typing, no guessing what you're looking at. The whole game is one tap and the thing that happens after it.

STEP 01

Spot it

Something interesting rolls past or sits under a tarp. Open the app — it lands on the camera, because that's the only screen that matters in the moment.

STEP 02

Shoot it

One tap. The photo goes to a vision model that identifies make, model, and era, judges rarity, and grades your framing with a note on how to shoot it better.

STEP 03

File it

The verdict lands with a chime and the car enters your Registry — numbered, dated, and yours. Miss the ID? Correct it in the dossier. The record is still yours.

The Registry

Collectors have kept registries for a century.

Marque registries track every known example of a car — chassis by chassis, owner by owner. TYRE HUNT builds the street version: a running record of the metal you personally found, in the wild, on the day you found it.

Entries are numbered in the order you find them. Nobody can buy their way onto this list.

Why it counts

A collection is only worth something if it's honest.

Anyone can screenshot a supercar. The rules below are what make a Registry entry mean you were standing there.

Live camera only

Gallery imports don't count. The shutter opens your camera, and that's the only path to a counted capture.

Screens and prints get caught

The verifier flags photos of monitors, magazines, and press shots. Flagged captures still save to your garage — they just don't count.

Duplicates are detected

Every photo gets a fingerprint computed on the server and checked against every other hunter's. The same car photographed twice is one entry.

The judge runs server-side

Identification happens on our servers, not in your phone where it could be edited. Rate limits are enforced there too.

What you can do with it

Built for the way people actually chase cars.

Documentation

Full dossiers

Go beyond one photo — interior, badge, rear, engine, detail. Each angle is graded, and badge shots get their script read back to you. Three verified angles makes it a full dossier.

Owners

Bounties

Own something people want to see? Post a bounty on your own car and hunters who spot it in the wild get credit. You see who found you.

Barn finds

Sleeping cars

Flat tyres, moss, a tarp and a decade of dust. Dormant metal gets its own classification and its own title to chase.

Lost to history

Most Wanted

Cars the record says were built but nobody can find — Bugatti's missing Atlantic, a Ferrari 375 MM, Dean's Spyder. Spot something that fits and you file a lead.
